USMEF represents beef/veal producers and feeders, pork producers and feeders, lamb producers and feeders, packers and processors, purveyors and traders, oilseeds producers, feedgrains producers, farm organizations, and supply and service organizations.

The United States stands as the world's leading producer of beef. With a rich history spanning over 150 years, the U.S. beef industry has developed into a cornerstone of agriculture.

US cattle are primarily raised on grass and then finished on a grain diet for at least 100 days. This feeding method enhances the marbling in the beef, contributing to its renowned juiciness, tenderness, and flavor.

U.S. beef is celebrated for its consistent quality throughout the year, a result of the standardized grain-finishing.

The combination of rich flavor, tenderness, juiciness, and consistency has established U.S. beef as one of the premier beef products globally.
